NOTES & Features

The  Enhanced Registration Page Mod includes the following new features.

A nice table showing what the difference is between a guest and a registered member. Based on Welcome Panel with member advantages by Offenbach.

Checks if the username is available, shows the password strength and checks that a valid email address has been entered.
Based on Ajax Registration System by barspin. Users must correctly answer an easy security question before they can register.
Based on Registration Security Question Mod by Offenbach. A Spam Poison Link placed on the bottom right of the registration page will redirect email harvesting bots to trap sites that will feed it with an almost infinite loop of dynamically generated fake email addresses, mostly on known spammer owned domains! This will render their harvested lists practically useless and of no commercial value.


Installation:

Backup register.php & locale/English/register.php

1.Extract Enhanced_Registration.zip using winzip

2. Upload and over write the contents of the php-files folder to your fusion route

3. Done! Enhance Registration is now enabled on your site go to yoursite.com/register.php

Notes & Tips:

To edit Guests & Members Advantages open locale/English/register.php and change lines 45 to 59

To change the Logo on the sign up page upload a new image to images/register/  you must name your image signup.png  If you do not wish to use a logo image open locale/English/register.php and at line 46 remove <img src='/images/register/signup.png' border='0' /><p>

To change the Security Questions open locale/English/register_security.php
